Spiritan Self-Awareness Initiative (SSAI) in collaboration with Ishk Tolaram Foundation has been providing free prosthetic limbs to amputees in Nigeria since 2018.

The idea came out of the realization that 95% of amputees in Africa lack proper prosthetic care due to poverty. Many of them have lost their sorces of livelihood as a result.
The GIFT Of LIMBS initiative does not only give them the ability to walk again but also helps bring back their lost confidence while at the same time, reintegrating them back into the society.
